Read, Read, Read – for FREE!

There are tons of great places to find interesting books and articles to read online! This page will help you use your CCSD93 Gmail account, your local library account, or free resources on the web to find your next great read. And don’t forget to check out the latest issue of The Stratford Steed, our own school art & literary magazine!

How to Log In to Public Library eBook Resources:

If you live in Bloomingdale and have a Bloomingdale Public Library card, your username is your library card number and your password/ pin is MOST LIKELY the last 4 digits of the phone number on the library account (probably a parent’s phone number or home phone number) unless you previously changed the password. If you can’t remember your password, you can change it online!

If you live in Carol Stream & have a CS library card, your username is your library card number and your password/ pin is MOST LIKELY the last 4 digits of the phone number on the library account (probably a parent’s number or home phone number) OR the last 4 digits of your library card number. If these don’t work, call the library at 630-653-0755 and they can reset your password over the phone!

If you live in Hanover Park and have a Poplar Creek Public Library District library card, your username is your library card number and your password/ pin is MOST LIKELY the last 4 digits of the phone number on the library account (probably a parent’s phone number or home phone number) unless you previously changed the password. If you can’t remember your password, you can change it online!

How to Log In to CCSD93 Resources

Always look for a “Sign In with Gmail” button. If you do not see one, your login is still likely the same username and password you use to access any of your Google resources at school.

Axis 360 has lots of great middle grades and young adult novels to choose from. You can read on the computer or download the app to any smartphone or tablet. Be aware that many books may be on hold, so place a hold on a book you want to read and it’ll be available soon!
